I do not have enough nerve to visit this place....and your photos confirm the general creepiness....
martha ~ i'd never been there before and it took me a couple of days to get up the nerve to go alone. i really dislike being underground - subways, parking structures, etc. but my curiosity trampled my fear and i am so very glad i went. there are the bones of over 6 million parisians there and there is a macabre beauty to it all. oh, and they checked my purse for bones when i left!
